You would work on the parts of the system where being wrong has consequences: the extraction and generation pipelines, the audit trail, the chart versioning and signature model, and the delivery path into customer EMRs.

The interesting problems here are not throughput. They are correctness under ambiguity — how to represent "the model could not establish this", how to make an AI-drafted clinical record reconstructable a year later, how to make a failed EMR delivery loudly visible instead of a chart that quietly never arrived.

What we think this needs: real experience owning a production system where data integrity mattered, comfort with the boring rigour that PHI requires, and enough scepticism about language models to design around their failure modes rather than assuming them away. Healthcare experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.
